As a small start up of average Joes, we’re pretty concerned about the impact that product packaging waste is having on the world around us. In order to help combat this, we’ve launched the UK’s first razor cartridge recycling scheme for our customers.
Get the low down on how to recycle your used grüum products below….
Cartridge recycling scheme
Return your used razor cartridges back to us in batches of 16, in one of our special letterbox sized boxes, and we’ll recycle them on your behalf.
Just send your old blades to: FREEPOST GRUUM CARTRIDGE RECYCLING
Our postal packaging is made from cardboard and is fully recyclable. So don’t forget that your boxes should go into your paper and cardboard recycling bin.
Some of our orders also contain biodegradable packing peanuts. These are made from GM-free starch, and are compostable and will dissolve in water. You can also keep them for future use!
Our plastic bottles are made from either HDPE or LDPE, and caps / spray tops are made from PP, all of which are commonly recycled types of plastics. However, what is accepted differs between local authorities, so be sure to check what is accepted in your area.
