What do I need for body care?

Our top body care products are scrubs or exfoliators, body wash, lotions or moisturisers and oils. SPFs and sun creams are also essential to protect you from UVA/UVB rays.

What is a good body care routine?

At grüum, we recommend you start with a gentle exfoliator or scrub in the shower to remove dead skin cells. Follow this up with body wash containing natural goodness and then layer on your choice of lotion, oil or moisturiser to lock in moisture. Don’t forget to apply SPF daily (even when it’s cloudy!) to protect your skin from UV.

What are your natural body bars made from?

Our såpa body wash soap bars are made using an array of natural ingredients, including shea butter and coconut oil. We also add botanical extracts and aromatic oils to bring you a truly luxurious shower experience.

Is natural body wash better for you?

Natural body wash is certainly kinder to your skin since it doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals. All our body bars are entirely free from artificial colours and fragrances, parabens, sulphates, SLS, EDTA and petrochemicals – many of which are often found in conventional shower gel products.

How do you prevent body acne?

Body acne can be prevented by regularly using a body scrub or exfoliator to remove dead or flaky skin that can block your pores. Scrubs will also help to remove bacteria and excess oil that may cause body acne.

Certain body washes can also be beneficial when dealing with this skin type, like our såpa Body Bar in patchouli & sandalwood, with its antibacterial and antifungal properties.
