After sun

Dermatologist-approved face sunscreen

Your line of defence against the sun’s harsh rays. Our vegan face and body sun care range provides up to SPF50 protection and is formulated to be kind to your skin.

We’ve developed our SPF 50* and SPF 30* UVA Face Sunscreens in collaboration with a leading British Consultant Dermatologist, so you know these suncreams are serious. Formulated with Tinosorb® A2B to effectively and efficiently protect against UVB and UVA II, but lightweight enough to prevent clogged pores or greasy foreheads. Our sunscreen is also water-resistant, so you can splash, swim and sweat with confidence.

Our skyda SPF50 Daily Defence Lotion slots nicely into any skin care routine (after moisturising and before makeup) for protection against the sun on a daily basis. We’ve also infused this lotion with vitamin E to nourish and protect your skin even further.

Cool down with our dimma Cooling Mist and kyla Hydrating Facial Mist sprays with a quick spritz at any time of day. Our mists are enriched with tea tree and orange extracts to keep your skin refreshed and hydrated while you soak up the sun’s rays.

Full-body protection with our body suncream

It’s not just your face that needs protection from the sun – your limbs also need sunscreen to keep your skin safe from UVA and UVB rays.

Our SPF30 5* UVA Body Sunscreen has been developed alongside our trusted dermatologist consultants to provide the best protection for your body. It also contains Tinosorb A2B, protecting you from 96.7% of UVB rays, is fragrance-free, water-resistant, and travel-friendly, so you can have peace of mind all year round wherever you’re basking in the sun.

FAQs

Should you apply sunscreen to your face every day?

Yes, daily sunscreen use helps protect against sun damage, premature ageing, and environmental exposure – even on cloudy days.

How often should I apply sunscreen?

Sunscreen should be reapplied every two hours when exposed to the sun, and more frequently if swimming, sweating, or towel drying.

What is the difference between SPF30, SPF50 and skyda Daily Defence lotion?

SPF30 protects against around 96.7% of UVB rays and has a PPD rating of 39, offering high UVA protection. It’s a great option for daily use or when sun exposure is lower.
SPF50 provides higher overall protection against UVB rays and has a PPD rating of 54, making it more suitable for prolonged or intense sun exposure.
Our skyda Daily Defence lotion with SPF50 also has a PPD rating of 54, meaning it offers the same high level of UVA protection as SPF50, while remaining lightweight and comfortable for everyday wear.

When should you apply face sunscreen?

Face sunscreen should be the last step in your skincare routine after moisturising and before makeup. This allows your skin to absorb the full effects of your skincare products and also allows the sunscreen to form a protective layer over your skin.

Is your SPF moisturiser fragrance-free?

Yes, our SPFs are completely fragrance-free, helping reduce the risk of irritation for those with sensitive skin.

How does after sun work?

After‑sun products are designed to cool, hydrate and repair the skin after sun exposure. Sunlight can dehydrate the skin and cause irritation, so after‑sun works by replenishing moisture, soothing heat, and helping the skin recover more quickly. Ingredients like aloe vera, glycerin and calming botanicals help reduce redness, restore hydration and leave the skin feeling comfortable again.

Can you use body sunscreen on your face?

Yes, you can technically use body sunscreen on your face if needed, but face-specific SPFs are usually lighter and less likely to clog pores or interfere with makeup.
